GETTING TO & FROM LASQUETI ISLAND
The Lasqueti ferry runs regularly from French Creek Harbour, just north of Parksville, to False Bay on Lasqueti Island. You can get here by taking Exit 51 off the new Island Highway, head east towards north Parksville, then turn left onto the Old Island Highway and keep your eyes peeled for a "Lasqueti Island Ferry" sign on your right.

The ferry carries passengers and freight only, so remember to pack light! Or you can do it the "Lasqueti way" and bring Rubbermaid tubs and a dolly. Vehicles may be left in paid parking at the nearby French Creek Marina (click here for further parking information).
Also keep in mind that summers are a popular time to travel, so it is important that passengers arrive early at the dock to ensure a spot on the ferry. It is recommended that you allow one hour before your scheduled departure. During periods of anticipated high ferry traffic, boarding passes are made available on the dock and must be obtained in order to secure your place.
Sailings last approximately one hour.
